MASTERS OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION — MANAGEMENT

It is my pleasure to introduce Dalhousie’s School of Public Administration and our Master of Public
Administration (Management) program. The MPA (M) program is a unique program. Its highly acclaimed
blended learning model allows you to earn your graduate degree and advance your career without leaving
your current position. Our experienced staff and faculty have developed powerful materials to leverage the
convenience of distance learning complemented with in-person classroom instruction. Many of the Faculty
teaching on the program bring a combination of advanced knowledge and high level, hands-on experience
gained through their years working as high level government officials. This cutting-edge, relevant Master’s
degree is specifically designed for high potential, dedicated and goal-oriented public servants and practitioners
in the voluntary sector. Our graduates note that the program “was transformative” and allowed them to
advance into senior roles in the provincial, municipal and federal governments and in crown corporations and
non-profits. We invite you to explore the exciting features of this exceptional program in this brochure and on
our website masters.management.dal.ca
